Wildfire Prevention Co. (WPC) is a family-run business based in Wimberley, Texas, with a combined 60+ years in business operations, leadership, and executive management roles. WPC was born from a passion for safety awareness and community.
WPC is committed to safeguarding people and properties from the devastating impact of wildfires through preventative action. Our goal is to protect residential, commercial, and governmental properties to ensure the safety of the whole community. We have a profound understanding of the urgency and complexity of our mission. With a focus on performing risk assessments, educating customers on creating defensible spaces, applying PHOS-CHEK® long-term fire-retardant products, and installing BrandGuard Vents™ fire-rated vents or Wildfire Defense Mesh™ to your existing vents, we help empower our clients to proactively defend their properties.
First Responders are an invaluable part of our communities. WPC supports FROSTI, the First Responders Operations Support Team, a 501(c)3 non-profit with a goal to support underfunded emergency departments.

Thaddeus Foster
FOUNDER
A Texas native, Thaddeus has over 40 years of customer service and business experience. He has a passion for his homeland and helping his community.
He currently serves as President of JDLV Properties and President of First Responder Operations Support Team, Inc. He was also formerly the COO & Operating Partner of Prometheus Restaurant Franchise Holdings, President of Hyperion Partners, Inc., and President of Law Enforcement Assistance & Development Foundation.

Scott Holmquist
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Scott is a retired Assistant Deputy Director of Fire Protection Operations at CAL FIRE, with more than 40 years of experience ALL HAZARD response, incident management and training. He has held the position as a Type 1 Incident Commander and multiple other ICS positions, including Agency Administrator, Safety Officer, Liaison Officer and Operations Section Chief. During his career, Scott also worked at PG&E as a Public Safety Specialist providing emergency response as the company representative with the agencies on incidents and working on planning, preparedness for events like Super Bowl 50 and PG&E's Public Safety Power Shutoffs. He now provides consulting and training on fire safety, prevention, mitigation and the use of long-term fire retardants to various agencies and companies.
